Bride Wars released at a theatre near you on January 9, 2009. Gary Winicks latest romantic comedy film, Bride Wars, is about two best friends, Emma and Liv, played by Anne Hathway and Kate Hudson respectively. From the time these two best friends visited their first wedding held at the Plaza Hotel they had made their minds up about tying the knot with their loved ones at the very same venue. All hell breaks loose when they both learn that due to an error in arrangements, both of them will have to be married at the same venue on the very same day too. Liv turns Emmas tan complexion into orange and embarrasses her. The furious Emma who wants to get back at Liv changes her dye color so her hair turns out a sky blue. She even sets in motion a subtle plan to fatten up Liv with a daily dose of chocolates and pastries. The war and the activities of Emma do not go down well with her man.
